Little Gracie continues to amaze me. She did lose a few ounces this week, but quickly has gained some of them back. When I go in the NICU to see her, my heart absolutely breaks to see all the little babies in there, especially ours. She is absolutely adorable and I can't wait until she comes home. I'm very impatient, wanting her to grow alot faster. It's amazing how far technology has come and the care Gracie is getting is evident of that. She has developed a small heart problem, they're hoping to correct it with medicine, if not they'll do a surgical procedure in the NICU unit. She also has developed quite a personality, the nurses say she flirts with them. She likes to lay on her stomach, which the nurses say they can cheat by letting her do that since she's on a monitor. For all you older generation, they don't like babies to sleep on their stomachs like we did with our kids. Robyn is still very weak, but she manages to go see Gracie every day. Todd has been a trooper, doing all household chores, taking care of Callie & Kadee, and of course taking care of Robyn. I'm proud of him and how He's taken over! Please continue to keep Gracie and Robyn in your prayers, we know God answers prayers. On our way into NICU yesterday, Robyn and I saw Jeanette Gurley in the hall. We go to church with her and Jeanette works in Labor and Delivery. She told Robyn she was the talk of the unit. No one can believe Robyn and the baby lived through this, but Jeanette said an angel was sitting on Dr. Hales shoulder that night. All the doctors still can't believe the outcome. Thank you God for hearing our prayers and taking care of us.
